The pickpocket's ghost by Catherine Fisher

There's a ghost in Sarah's bedroom and he is begging for her help. All he needs is for her to open a box. Will she save his soul or is it a dreadful trap?

Passing Strange by Daniel Waters

The third book in the series doesn't quite live up to the heights of the first book, Generation Dead, but it's still a compelling read.

This book fascinated me, it was so different to anything I've ever read. It was very enjoyable and I struggled to put it down. Can't wait for the sequel! ****
